CIRALI

Cirali (pronounced Tcherale) is a quiet small town with about 1000 inhabitants in the National Park Olimpos Beydağları directly on the Mediterranean Sea.At the approx. 3.2 km long beach, there are some free deck chairs available – only 5 minutes walk from Tunay’s Pension.

Cirali also offers its visitors a diverse flora and fauna. Thus, eclosion of sea turtles Caretta caretta (loggerhead sea turtle) can be observed every year.

Only 10 minutes walk from Tunay’s Pension lies the ancient city of Olympos with its ruins of once important city of Lycian Federation.

Another popular destination – especially after sunset – is the “eternal fire of Chimera” in Yanartas. You can reach the natural phenomenon existing since thousands of years by a hike of about 1 hour from our pension or half an hour starting from the parking lot of the flaming rock.
